We’re delighted that we’ve been asked to present at the UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG) Apps 16 conference on the 6th December 2016. Our CEO, Matt Luscombe, will present on:
‘Planning Security and Business Process Controls into Oracle Cloud’
In this session, Matt will explore some of the key security, IT controls and business process controls differences and similarities when moving to the Oracle Cloud. We’ll discuss what you should be doing now for existing systems to help improve their security and prepare your organisation for moving to the Cloud in the future. We’ll suggest activities and roles you should consider as part of your Cloud project to ensure that your new system is both secure and that automated business process controls have been enforced to reduce the likelihood of fraud, error and rework.
Key take aways will include:
- Understanding of key security and controls impacts when moving to the Cloud
- Identify security and controls actions that can perform now for existing systems that will help should the organisation decide to move to the Cloud in the future
- Suggestions for security and controls activities and roles to be included in an Oracle Cloud implementation
The conference takes place from the 5th-7th December 2016 at the Birmingham ICC and Matt’s session is from 10.05-10.50 on Tuesday 6th. We’d love to see you there and have a conversation with yourselves around Cloud security and controls. Given we’ve spent 17 years working with Oracle ERP customers to implement good practice security and controls, please email firstname.lastname@example.org if this is something you’d like to talk to us about.
