Oracle Security & Controls at the UKOUG Public Sector SIG

Oracle Security & Controls at the UKOUG Public Sector SIG

It’s just been confirmed that we’re presenting at the UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG) Public Sector Applications and Public Sector Financials Combined SIG on the 30th June 2016 the topic of:

Key EBS Security and Control Challenges in Public Sector

Given Systems Risk Services has worked with more than 30 Public Sector organisations in the past 18 months to assess and improve their E-Business Suite security, access controls and business process controls, this session will provide an overview of some of the key recurring challenges. We’ll provide you with an update on what your external auditors are currently looking for in the area and provide a case study of how some of your peers are determining whether this is a challenge for their organisation and addressing these key recurring challenges. We’ll also discuss some of the areas to look at now to improve your EBS security and controls should you be looking to update or upgrade it or to move to Oracle Cloud ERP.

Attendees should gain a number of key benefits, including:

  • Understanding of key EBS security, access controls and business process controls challenges that recur across public sector organisations
  • Identify security and controls actions that organisations can perform for their EBS now that would help should the organisation decide to move to the Cloud in the future
  • Suggestions for activities to be performed to gain assurance that these challenges are not an issue for themselves

More information about the session including registration details can be found on this page.
